This page contains basic information on using the Modern Stoicism website.
“I am having problems logging in.”
First of all, make sure you’ve registered on this site properly. You will receive a verification email to confirm your identity. It’s therefore very important that you add our domain (modernstoicism.com) to your email client’s safe-sender list, to avoid important system-generated and admin emails being sent to your spam folder. Use the lost password feature to send an email reminder if you’ve forgotten your password.
Alternatively, if you have a WordPress.com account or a Google account you will potentially be able to register and authenticate that way, without having to receive a verification email. (Unfortunately, WordPress sites are frequently targeted by hackers and spammers, so it’s important that we have appropriate security measures in place.)
Occasionally people may have problems due to temporary issues on the server, which can usually be resolved just by waiting ten minutes and trying again later.
Note: Some people mistakenly create a WordPress.com account instead of registering on Modern Stoicism. If you’ve done that, though, you should be able to login by clicking the Login with WordPress.com button on the login page.
