Stoic Week, an online program run by Modern Stoicism, returns this coming November!
The first Stoic Week took place with a small group in 2012, with the first public program following in 2013. This year, 2023, will be the eleventh for Stoic Week.
Over the last decade, around 40,000 people around the world have signed up for Stoic Week, with about half that number actively participating by offering experimental data. Participants complete a questionnaire before starting, and another at the end, to enable researchers to assess how much benefit participants have gained from the week of Stoic guidance.
Data from recent years shows that on average, participants have seen a 14% increase in life satisfaction, plus a 15% reduction in negative emotions, in just one week.
Stoic Week offers an opportunity to practice Stoicism over the space of seven days, incorporating Stoic insights, techniques, concepts and practices in your life. It’s also completely free to register and take part.
The program is wholly online, structured around daily readings, videos, and practices. It’s a great opportunity to connect with other participants interested in the practice of Stoic philosophy.
Registrations are now open here. Signing up will ensure you receive email updates and further information! We hope you will join us in 2023.
