Stoicon 2023 – Beautiful Stoics

Should we be indifferent to beauty? Discover Stoic views on beauty, how to appreciate beauty, and how beauty can help us cultivate virtue.

Join us for the 11th Annual International Stoicon Conference, Saturday 21 October 2023 at 10.00 am EDT, live on Zoom, as we gather to examine Stoic views on beauty.

This year, the theme of Beautiful Stoics invites us to challenge conventional notions of beauty and virtue. This conference promises to be a journey of discovery, where you will be invited to explore the connections between ethics and aesthetics through the lenses of Chrysippus, Cato, Cicero, Marcus Aurelius and the Stoic tradition.
